Advanced Motor Position Tuning

Motor placement plays an important role in RC drift chassis behavior. The OVERDOSE High Mount Kit provides additional flexibility to experiment with different motor positions and drivetrain configurations.

Front Motor Position: Offers an alternative front-to-rear motor weight distribution.

Center Motor Position: Places the motor higher near the spur gear to provide a different chassis weight-transfer characteristic.

Rear Motor Position: Shifts motor mass rearward, allowing drivers to experiment with rear weight bias and traction response.

Actual handling changes depend on chassis setup, electronics, tires, and driving surface.

Compatibility & Installation Notes

Designed for the OVERDOSE GALM and GALM Ver.2 drift chassis.

Important: The gear-drive set cannot be used when the spur gear is installed on the left side of the chassis.

Installation requires appropriate drivetrain configuration and setup adjustments. Confirm clearance and compatibility with your existing motor, gear arrangement, and chassis components before installation.
