Surface Pre-Prep 90050 - Applying Spaz Stix Surface Pre-Prep is an especially important step when using Spaz Stix Color Change paints to finish your polycarbonate R/C body. Using it prevents swirls caused by static electricity from the body, and improves adhesion. Apply in one very light coat (barely a mist) before spraying your color.

Chrome - Chrome can be used as an accent, main theme, or "Candy" backer. Use it in combination with Spaz Stix Candy Colors for a colored chrome effect, or on it's own for a true chrome appearance on your bumpers, grill, and trim.

Mirror Chrome 10000 - When using Ultimate Mirror Chrome on an "external" application, or surface other than polycarbonate, it must be applied over a base coat of the Ultimate Black Backer. It will be necessary to seal the Chrome with Spaz Stix Ultimate Clear Coat (SZX10900 or SZX10909). Apply clear coat in very light coats, with ample drying time between coats. Applying too much clear at once will turn the Chrome into a grey color. Please note: It is difficult to achieve the full reflective qualities of this paint when used externally. ALWAYS practice on a scrap piece before proceeding with your project.

Sky Blue Mirror Chrome 10020 - MUST be backed with Spaz Stix Ultimate Black Backer for Mirror Chrome (SZX10200 or SZX10209) to achieve desired results. If not backed, it will wipe away easily, and will have no durability.
When using on an "external" application, or surface other than polycarbonate, it must be applied over a base coat of the Ultimate Black Backer. It will be necessary to seal the Chrome with Spaz Stix Ultimate Clear Coat (SZX10900 or SZX10909).

Red Mirror Chrome 10030  - MUST be backed with Spaz Stix Ultimate Black Backer for Mirror Chrome (SZX10200 or SZX10209) to achieve desired results. If not backed, it will wipe away easily, and will have no durability.

Ultimate Clear Coat for Mirror Chrome 10900 - The Ultimate Mirror Chrome Clear Coat is necessary as a light protective layer when Mirror Chrome is used for "external" applications, or surfaces other than polycarbonate.
Apply light coats, with ample drying time, in order to prevent bleeding through the Ultimate Mirror Chrome. If too much clear coat is applied at once, the Mirror Chrome will go dull, and lose its reflective properties.

Ultimate Black Backer for Mirror Chrome 10200 - Spaz Stix Ultimate Black Backer is required when using Mirror Chrome to achieve the full reflective properties of the chrome. Not only will it give your Mirror Chrome the maximum shine, but it seals and protects. Without this backer, Mirror Chrome will not be durable, and will wipe off easily.

Candy - Spaz Stix "Candy" paint is a translucent (see through) color that when applied correctly, will produce eye-popping results. Candy paints spray out very clear, and will require several light coats to achieve best results. The color will build in intensity with each coat, but at this point, the color will be very faint. After achieving an even finish with the Candy paint, you MUST use a backing color to make your paint job "pop". We recommend the following backer color combinations:

• White (SZX00200 or SZX00209): Produces the brightest color, but the least amount of "depth"
• Silver: Produces a bright, rich color, with some "depth"
• Metallic Silver(SZX00300 orSZX00309): Produces the same results as silver, but with "sparkles". This is our favorite combination!
• Gold: Produces a darker finished color, with the most depth.
• Ultimate Mirror Chrome (SZX10000 or SZX10009): Produces a unique "colored chrome" effect. (Be sure to follow the instructions for using Ultimate Mirror Chrome)

Fluorescent - Have you ever seen a neon sign in the middle of the night? Spaz Stix fluorescent paints are just as bright and vibrant. These colors are sure to make any car stand out on the track. Spaz Stix Green Fluorescent paint is a translucent (see through) color that when applied correctly, will produce eye-popping results. Color so bright, you'd swear it glows! "Fluorescent" colors will spray out very clear, and will require several light coats to achieve best results. Applying too much paint at once will result in runs, cracks, and an uneven finish. After achieving an even finish with the Fluorescent color, you MUST apply Spaz Stix Solid White/Backer (SZX00200 or SZX00209), which will make your color "pop"

Pearl -*IMPORTANT: When sprayed, this color is very translucent (see through), and it will appear that little or no color is being applied. Please be sure to apply a few even coats and let dry before applying the backer. Do not apply heavy coats, as any "runs" in the paint will cause an uneven finish. The backer color will show through the pearl, creating the desired iridescent effect. Our favorite is to back with black for a dark, deep finish, or white for that classic pearl look, but you can experiment with the backer color of your choice to create truly custom, one-of-a-kind finishes. You can even "double-stack" Pearls to get more than one highlight.

Metallics - Spaz Stix Metallic paints are opaque colors that are loaded with "flakes" which really dazzle in the light, especially direct sunlight.
